Royal Ceramics Lanka PLC

Royal Ceramics Lanka PLC, known as Rocell, is a Sri Lankan holding company manufacturing ceramic tiles and bathware. Established in 1990, it became listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange in 1994. The company is part of the S&P Sri Lanka 20 Index. Subsidiaries Royal Porcelain (Pvt) Ltd and Rocell Bathware Ltd started operations in 2002 and 2009, respectively. Starting in 2010, Royal Ceramics acquired stakes in various companies, obtaining 20% in Delmege Forsyth in 2010, 25.85% in LB Finance in 2012, and 76.54% in Lanka Ceramics PLC in 2013. The acquisition of Lanka Ceramics PLC for LKR2.9 billion in 2013 gave Royal Ceramics a monopoly in Sri Lanka's tile market.
